Here, we’ll tell you all you need to know about how much this dating platform actually costs.

Free Features

We tested all the free features available on TheLuckydate. Here’s a detailed explanation and our opinion on these features.

• Registration. The registration process is completely free and pretty fast—it took us 2 minutes to create a profile and upload a profile picture. Writing a bio might take longer, but we skipped this step (you can return to this step and write it later). The registration form is also very simple—only your name, email, and birthdate are needed.
• Like profiles and add profiles to your favorite list. You can do it to express your interest to the ladies and to add their profiles to your write-later list. You click “Like” to send a like and the “Star” button to add a profile to the list; everything is simple.
• Browse profiles and view their photos. Almost all the women on The Lucky Date have at least 5-6 high-quality photos, and lots of them have private albums. However, you’ll have to start chatting and get a response from a woman to get access to her private pictures.
• Use the search tools. There are only two search filters available—age and country. All of them are free. It’s convenient to use the search tool on TheLuckydate, but we can’t say that two filters are enough—most popular dating sites offer 5 or more search options.
• Attach photos and emojis. Some dating sites take money for sending emojis and pictures, but on TheLuckyDate, you can do it for free. The live chat feature is very convenient, and sending stickers/emojis makes online conversations much more enliven.

Periodic payments are a common practice, but considering the price of the messaging tools (3,000 credits for 1 message), you’ll probably be charged every single day if you’re an active user.

Paid Features

Now, let’s talk about the premium services available on The Lucky Date, and about how we tested them.

• Live chat costs 200 credits per minute—we chatted with 3 women and spent around 20 minutes in total. It’s a convenient messaging tool with some extra features. You can send emojis and “lips” (1,000 and 500 credits respectively). Full screen effects are also available (2,000 credits).
• Messages cost 1,000 credits to send the first one to a particular member and 3,000 credits to send each consecutive message to that member. Attaching photos to messages and emojis are free, as well as opening the attachments. It’s interesting that 3 out of 5 women we communicated with sent us their pictures.
• Virtual gifts cost from 4,900 to 75,000 credits. We sent the cheapest one (a cup of coffee) to a lady just to test it.

We spent 20 minutes in a live chat (4,000 credits), sent 5 first messages and 12 messages that cost 3,000 credits (41,000 credits in total), and bought a cheap gift (5,000 credits). In total, we spent 50,000 credits or $75 for 3 days full of communication—and due to the specifics of our work, this is much more than an average user would spend for 3 days.

If you send 2 messages and spend around 10 minutes per day in a live chat, you’ll only pay $12 per 1 day. It’s a bit less than one would spend on most premium dating websites with foreign women—that’s why we believe that this sounds like reasonable pricing.

First of all, we noticed that male profiles on the platform are less detailed than their female counterparts.
